Valentine dancing…(there’s a fun video!)

What a fun start to the Valentine’s weekend!  It began on Friday with pajama day at Colin’s school.  He couldn’t have been more excited to wear his Thomas the Train pjs to school and bring one of his favorite books – Dr. Seuss’ Green Eggs and Ham.  For lunch, Sean, Colin, and I went to Chuck E. Cheese for a fun treat.  Colin had been asking to go back there for quite a while.  Again, he was over the moon to play there.  After a quick nap and dinner, we got all dressed up and headed to a Valentine’s Day dance.

Colin donned his striped bow tie, checkered shirt, and red sweater vest, Daddy wore his suit with a red tie, and I wore a dress with a pink scarf.  We were all in red and pink for Valentine’s Day and ready to have some fun!  We arrived at Mayfair Park and headed upstairs to where the music was playing.  With streamers hanging from the ceiling, a DJ playing music, and kids dancing around, Colin was excited to figure out how to get involved in the fun.  Here’s a video showing just how Colin was able to “shake it” on the dance floor!
